Developed and executed thorough automated and QA testing using Cypress and Jest and provided documentation for all implemented projects to ensure quality production releases with high uptime and minimal impact on business operations. Collaborated with users to understand unique business requirements and establish build criteria while identifying workflow pain points, usage exceptions, and gathering feedback on system performance. Developed the front-end for a new React application driven by Formik to replace a legacy .NET application, modernizing the workflow for Commitment Letter and Credit Agreement stages of a deal. Integrated usage analytics with Kibana and continued to support the application used by thousands of bankers globally. Implemented a new functionality using React and Java which enabled editing of tranche information for approved deals, altering data flow to adhere to reporting requirements, ensuring data capture to safeguard a paper trail for any post deal amendments. Lead front-end developer for Pre-Deal application, allowing bankers to create and track financials for potential future deals, with the ability to later transfer that data directly into the core deal approval workflow. Played a key role in the overhaul of a complex dependency tree for validations and calculations within a tranche creation tool utilized by bankers for evaluating financial transactions and took initiative to generalize the tool and utilize it in other stages of the workflow. Contributed to the creation of the first cloud-based application in the division-wide cloud migration strategy. Mentored summer interns, providing technical and professional guidance. ### Student Astrophysics Research Team Leader @ Haverford College Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | Haverford, Pennsylvania Coordinated and led half of Haverford’s pulsar timing astrophysics research team meetings and conducted one-on-one sessions eight hours per week with members of the research team in order to provide project guidance and assistance. ### Student Astrophysics Researcher @ Haverford College Jan 2017 – Jan 2019 | Haverford, Pennsylvania Engineered a demo frontend in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and coded Python backend for the creation of gravcalc.org, a scientific tool that allows scientists outside of the field to understand gravitational wave emission sources and produce results using real pulsar timing data. Reviewed, evaluated, and automated the download and processing of NICER time series data using Unix and Python, ultimately saving valuable time and improving process consistency. Designed a Python program which performed a new method of X-Ray data filtering for the NICER space telescope data, leading to effective extraction of target data from a dataset comprised of multiple background noise sources. ### Teaching Assistant @ Haverford College Jan 2017 – Jan 2019 | Haverford, Pennsylvania Provided support to students as well as graded tests and classwork for Astronomy 101: Astronomical Ideas, and Physics 213: Waves and Optics. Assisted students in introductory physics courses at the Haverford Physics Clinic. ### KINSC Summer Scholar Grant Recipient @ Haverford College Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | Haverford, Pennsylvania ### Technical Specialist @ ChannelEyes Jan 2015 – Jan 2015 Contributed extensively to Quality Assurance efforts which included testing changes to applications on the business’s platform. Obtained robust knowledge and understanding of methods for managing SQL databases, writing simple queries, and altering data. ## Education ### Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics, Concentration in Scientific Computing Haverford College Jan 2015 – Jan 2019 ### High School Diploma The Doane Stuart School Jan 2000 – Jan 2015 ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/liam-t-lynch --- Source: https://flows.cv/liamlynch JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/liamlynch/resume.json Last updated: 2026-03-23
