### Software Engineer - Core Engine @ TigerGraph
Jan 2022 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area
1. Lightweight Engine for Datalake: Built diskless graph engine for datalake. Benchmarked the system to find bottlenecks. Improved end-to-end loading time 3x faster.

Led a cross-functional team, designed, developed and delivered following projects in Backup and Restore area.
2. Incremental Backup: Enabled Tigergraph to backup partial WAL only, instead of complete data, to improve backup efficiency. Relieved customers from hours of daily backup.
3. Point-in-time Restore: Enabled Tigergraph to precisely restore to a point of time in history.
4. Online Backup: Make the Tigergraph database non-blocking while backup. Ensured the resilience and easily recoverable of backups.
5. Backup on cloud: Build backup for cloud-native version TigerGraph offering, the backup introduces 0 data copy.

6. Critical bugs fixed in Distributed Query Running, Data Consistency.
7. AddressSanitizer: Enabled ASan to detect memory errors in core engine C++ code, also analyzed and solved several critical bugs.
