I have designed websites, mobile apps, web apps, but I've also crafted experiences for unconventional interfaces like the Caper's self-checkout machine and IBM’s mixed reality smart room.

### Product Designer @ Caper
Jan 2020 – Jan 2021
Led the holistic experience for the Caper Counter. Designed interface variations and tested user flows to optimize checkout speed and convert into a fully touch-less experience. End-to-end design and iteration of an android app to simplify image collection. Wore many hats to support the product’s experience by running user tests, suggesting hardware recommendations, creating store signage, and working closely with PMs for product roadmapping and strategy. Also unified the company’s visuals through the creation of a new brand identity, new logo, website, and brand style guide.

UX & UI design for mobile and web app for start-up influencer marketing platform from concept to implementation. Conducted user research and testing on their web and mobile applications to inform each iteration of the design process. In addition, I built their brand identity, design language, style guide, assets, and logo.

### UX Designer | IBM Research Lab, Cognitive Immersive Systems Lab at RPI @ Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

I was working as a UX UI Designer on the design team in CISL for over three years. CISL is an IBM and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute research initiative exploring research opportunities in collaboration in immersive smart rooms. I worked closely with the lab researchers and software engineers to develop a communicate a vision for new applications for an immersive and AR interactive room. Many of my designs and illustrations were used to periodically promote and explain our research endeavors to the RPI school board of trustees as well as IBM executives and other guests. I am credited for my participation in some of the research papers published by Shannon Briggs and Matthew Peveler, and have attended and presented at the annual Cognitive Colloquium hosted by IBM two consecutive years. 

As a designer at CISL I have had the interesting challenge of designing application user-interfaces and anticipating user scenarios for multimodal-interaction on an unconventional interface. I have also created XD prototypes for mobile, tablet, and a unique panoramic display.

### Contracted Painter, McFarlane Toys @ McFarlaneToys
Jan 2015 – Jan 2015
The summer of 2015 I was employed as a painter at the action figure and toy company, McFarlane Toys to help prepare for San Diego Comic Con. I painted figures for the Comic Con displays and creating color sheets to be sent to china for review and mass production. The project we were working on were the Game of Thrones construction sets for HBO, which I am honored to have been a part of.
