Testing and building internal technology infrastructure for the Associated Press elections web scraping team, scraping county and state sites for elections results. Lead automated web scraping teams on elections nights. Technologies used: Flask, HTML, Javascript, Python.

Rest of World is a nonprofit publication covering technology stories in countries outside the West. Since 2021, I've worked at Rest of World as 1 of 2 developers on the product team, contributing to a wide range of projects including Google Analytics and schema, website features, CMS additions, and bespoke story treatments.

Worked on agile team focusing on front-end development and data visualizations using React and Typescript.

Data fellow: Researched broadband service datasets to visualize and create list of voters living inside internet deserts within district using ArcGIS, qGIS, and Python for Sam Edney’s NC House of Representatives campaign in team of 3 fellows.

Mentor: Advised two new Bluebonnet teams for local organizations and campaigns.
