Worked primarily on carrier integrations, ingestion pipelines, and authentication. - Led technical design and implementation of enterprise SSO using WorkOS, serving as primary owner for the integration. - Integrated SAML-based IdPs via WorkOS, building the Rails-side authentication flow, user provisioning, and role/permission mapping. - Worked on the smart proposal quote ingestion flow, which uses AWS Lambda and Textract to extract data from carrier PDFs, transform it, and persist it into Postgres (AWS RDS). - Mentored a junior engineer, providing guidance on Rails patterns, system design, and production debugging. - Core contributor to Threeflow’s first carrier API integration with Guardian, one of the company’s largest and most strategic carriers. - Built bidirectional REST API integrations to send RFPs to Guardian and ingest proposals and bids back into Threeflow. - Implemented data mapping and normalization layers to translate external carrier data into internal domain models. - Used Sidekiq for background processing, including retries and error handling for long-running and failure-prone workflows. - Helped replace manual, multi-day data entry with automated processing that completes in seconds. ### Senior Software Engineer @ Tuft & Needle Jan 2019 – Jan 2022 | Denver, Colorado, United States Responsibilities: - Build features, update, upgrade, and maintain the cart and checkout experience at Tuft & Needle, Serta, and Beautyrest. Helped with migration to GraphQL endpoints. Monthly promotions are one of the main drivers of revenue for T&N.
