# Lisa Kellman > Senior Product Designer Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/lisakellman I’m a Senior Product Designer at Walmart Connect, where I spend my time untangling the complexities of advertising and enterprise SaaS. I’m a firm believer that "enterprise" shouldn't be a synonym for "boring." My work is about finding the sweet spot between high-level business strategy and the actual, gritty details of execution—helping advertisers see real returns without making them jump through unnecessary hoops. I’ve spent a lot of my career taking messy, legacy experiences and rebuilding them into modern platforms that people actually enjoy using. I started out in visual design, which left me with a strong foundation for craft and storytelling. Today, I use those skills to navigate the "gray areas" of product design—the high-stakes, highly regulated environments where the answers aren't always obvious. I’m at my best when I’m: - Wrestling with complexity: Turning a massive, data-heavy workflow into something that feels intuitive and confident. - Humanizing B2B: Building professional tools that feel approachable, not cold or transactional. - Designing with AI: Using automation to kill the "busy work" and lower the cognitive load for our users. - Vibe coding: Getting into the browser early to prototype and "feel" the interaction before we commit. In the room, I’m friendly the partner who’s asking "why" three times and using that to iterate until we find the best solution for our needs.. I try to ground every decision in a mix of real user needs and the hard realities of the business. ## Work Experience ### Senior Product Designer @ Walmart Jan 2023 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area Senior Product Designer on Walmart Connect, Walmart’s B2B advertising platform, designing end-to-end experiences that help advertisers increase return on ad spend (ROAS) while driving significant revenue growth for Walmart. What I do • Lead complex B2B product design initiatives across campaign creation, optimization, reporting, and AI-assisted workflows for advertisers ranging from SMBs to enterprise brands. • Helped advertisers improve ROAS by millions while contributing to even greater gains in Walmart’s advertising revenue. • Led the visual and UX transformation of Walmart Connect’s legacy Ad Center into the current Walmart rebrand, aligning product UI with modern design systems and brand standards. • Partner closely with PMs, engineering, data science, and business teams to translate ambiguous problems into clear, scalable product solutions. • Known as a top-tier “vibe coder” among designers — prototyped and implemented large portions of the Connect Ad Center experience using code to accelerate iteration and improve design-engineering collaboration. • Drive early-stage ideation, concept exploration, and strategic framing for underutilized and net-new features. • Advocate for clarity, strong information hierarchy, and intuitive workflows in highly complex systems. How I work • Proactive, collaborative, and research-driven — I regularly initiate conversations with users, PMs, and business partners to deeply understand the “why” behind problems. • Thrive in ambiguous, high-impact spaces where strategy, design, and execution intersect. • Bring high energy, approachability, and strong facilitation skills that elevate team culture and momentum. ### Product Designer @ Microsoft Jan 2021 – Jan 2023 One of two designers on Microsoft Rewards, a points-based rewards program with over 7 million members.
