I believe deeply in user centered design thinking, and have solid experience designing, building, and shipping apps for desktop, IOS, and Android that deliver on real business metrics. I have five apps in the app store. I’ve lead, managed, and inspired small and medium sized teams. Prior to attending NYU’s Interactive Telecommunication Program, I was a Creative Director in the ad biz. I hired and managed a 10 member team of junior Art Directors, Designers and Writers. As a Lead Designer, I’ve managed 4-7 member teams of Designers, Content Strategists, and Researchers. I’m faculty at SVA’s Graduate IXD Program. I most recently taught a course on Narrative and Interactivity. Additional Skills: Agile Lean UX Research Workshop Leader Enterprise Design Thinking Product Owner Content Strategy ## Work Experience ### Senior Product Designer/ Strategist @ Hello Creator Jan 2023 – Jan 2025 Hello Creator is an AI product for content creators, on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube to take over the operational part of their work, so they can focus on the creative work that they love best. • Met regularly with users to learn about their needs, then translated those needs into specific product requirements. • Drove product innovation combining industry best practices for AI with deep user based insights. • Partnered with diverse consulting services teams to architect and deliver integrated, cutting-edge, user-centric AI generated solutions. ### Senior Product Designer @ Verizon Jan 2022 – Jan 2023 | New York, New York, United States • Met with C-level stakeholders to fully understand their sector’s business requirements positioning design as a strategic partner and key enabler of critical digital transformation endeavors, then created new opportunities for the Verizon chatbot assistant across the Verizon landscape. • Organized then ran a future of search workshop for 20+ global strategic partners and key enablers of critical digital transformation initiatives. The impact being a strategic foundation was laid for the future of search within the Verizon landscape. • Reimagined what the search and the search results experience could look like across desktop and mobile. Implemented the transformation. The impact was massive, as customers didn’t need to contact the call center when they couldn’t find something. This important change affected the bottom line, since those calls cost Verizon $3-$5 each. ### Senior Product Designer @ IBM Jan 2018 – Jan 2022 | New York, United States • Redesigned a broken chatbot, making it user-centric, and contributed chatbot components to the Carbon design system. The result was an uptick in sales. • Created from scratch a business intelligence system- the Strategic Partnership Program for Global, Geo, and Market leaders to make more informed and impactful decisions. • Engaged with executive stakeholders across client business units to understand their strategic goals, digital aspirations, and desired value. • Met with with business owners across the organization who were still using spreadsheets to organize their data. Created user-centric requirements out of these meetings.development. Led the conversation design user experience and strategy for all product features within the contact IBM chatbot. Re-created both the chatbot functionality and interface, creating a more usable, experience for our customers seeking help. I own five patents under the IBM umbrella. ### Senior Product Designer, Mobile Contract @ Fanduel/ NBA Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 Mobile game app connecting live televised NBA games to fan’s mobile devices. • Achieved a documented decreased drop-off rate, by reinventing the registration process. The new design required username and password upon completion of an entire game. • Designed additional social features which testing showed improved registration metrics. • Created a 3-minute version of the game play, along with other features, which contributed to retention.
