As a Research Fellow with the Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD), I explored the relationship between monumental and temporary architectural conditions featured on common Berlin blocks from the years of 1954 until the present day. I focused on a body of 6 case-study blocks, including the block of the former Berliner Schloss (palace) + the Palast der Republik, and Tempelhof Airport. During my year of research, I was a guest student at the Universität der Künste Berlin (University of the Arts Berlin) and worked with local institutions such as the Institute for Cultural Inquiry Berlin in order to realize my research proposal.
