I have been fortunate enough to work on a large variety of projects while at Substantial. The list includes:

• Conceptual design and initial research for a whisky discovery tool (Distiller)

• A responsive web app for personal trainers to collaborate with their clients

• An education non-profit focused on supporting teachers (Teaching Channel)

• Help smaller projects & clients with auditing their UX and identifying quick "wins" for smaller

budgets

• Conceptual product strategy explorations for startups (goal is to get funding or set direction)

• Led the design effort for a luxury fashion retailer's iOS app (Shopbop)

• A luxury real estate platform

• A child welfare innovation product (Partners for Our Children: Oliver)

• Projects with Fortune 100 & 500 companies that are under NDA.

I started at UIE (now XEVO) as a Graphic Designer supporting work for two fortune 100 companies.

Within a year, I was given a promotion and a new title, "Lead Designer." I led several projects with the support of other team members that focused on event and e-commerce experiences for mobile. Those projects were for: dedicated 'micro' (subdomain) branded websites, cross platform mobile and tablet experiences. Content varied from concerts to food, to shopping, to photographs and gift packages. But all was part of a larger experience system.

There might have been some mobile carrier and cruise line work in there as well.

I left UIE/Xevo to be able to have opportunities to work on less mobile-only focused experiences.
