Was one of the architects involved with selection and implementation of the company’s current technology stack. Also lead several teams using the agile development methodology in the implementation of applications on the stack. The effect was to transition the company from a monolithic application base, to more modular REST based micro service like architecture. Responsible for championing, and then transitioning the companies build system from and Ant and Ivy solution to Gradle which resulted in developer productivity increasing by an order of magnitude in a measurable way. Achieved this in less than a year, while also addressing concerns around security, auditing, performance, and scalability. Individual contributor for Crawler development and integration to various enterprise data sources like Exchange and Sharepoint, taking into account resource constraints and security. Architected and led team in implementation of systems running worldwide to do distributed processing of eDiscovery data and project tracking.

Architected and a led small team to implement distributed systems and large scale data processing development around the IDOL product to process and archive large data streams in the hundreds of terabytes to petabyte range. Greenfield development of system to handle governance by processing enterprise email and social media streams in near real time. As an individual contributor, I built system management/monitoring and tracking tools for multi-node deployments of products. These assisted in quickly locating and diagnosing issues in production systems, as well as giving runtime metrics to identify bottlenecks. Developed eDiscovery application and workflow systems development for compliance and governance around electronic data in various formats and in various sources. Worked on numerous products like Singlecast, Introspect, ECA. Served as product manager.

As an individual contributor, consulted with customers to customize and implement solutions around Verity’s enterprise search and entity extraction offerings. Transitioned to federated search developer as part of a team building search services that integrate with existing information silos. Transitioned to architect role for the Federator product.
