• Disaster recovery for hybrid cloud – Managed the life-cycle of data protection services to establish trust between the on-premise and cloud control planes, thus enabling workload backups in selected AWS regions.

• VMware cloud on AWS – Developed the web service backend for an on-demand service (SDDCaaS) that enables customers to run vSpherebased applications on AWS. This achieved seamless migration of workloads from the on-premise data center to the public cloud (Java on Spring Framework).

• NSX transformers – Co-led the design, development and deployment of a plugin module that enabled the hot upgrade of cloud gateways and other control plane VMs in the customer SDDCs while minimizing traffic loss (Java, C++, Python).

• Developed a tool to automate spinning up a developer environment, accessing component VMs in the cloud. This improved development efficiency by more than 30 per cent.

• Switch Abstraction Interface – Developed SAI layer, a standardized set of APIs as part of software for Open Networking in the Cloud (SONiC) effort for Microsoft Azure for Nexus line of datacenter switches (C, C++).

• Data plane forwarding – Designed and developed Layer 2, Layer 3 and application layer features for the packet forwarding engine for Nexus line of datacenter switches (C, C++, Python).
