- Contributed to the Catalog Unification project to unify Goodreads catalog with Amazon catalog. Created data pipeline to backport data from Goodreads to Amazon using AWS lambda and S3.
- Led a project to make Goodreads’ book review and quote pages accessible both on web and Android mobile using Ruby in Rails. Synced daily with the product and QA team to see the project through.
- Developed an internal tool used across Goodreads to sync over 2000 tickets from Jira to SIM. Wrote documents and onboarded neighboring teams to use the tool.
- Designed and implemented a script for bulk deletion of 3.1 million low-quality books, improved performance 6 times by introducing asynchronized algorithm. Helped Goodreads to shrink 5% of its DynamoDB database.
- Implemented an API for Amazon checkout page allowing customers to update their order quantity and sync prices simultaneously.
