Worked 20 hours weekly to lead 25-student recitations, host office hours, improve course content, and grade assignments and exams. Helped students improve their mathematical reasoning and proof-writing skills by guiding them through challenging problems on topics like NP-completeness and approximation algorithms.
Onboarded onto 7 new languages/frameworks and built payment interfaces on Messenger web primarily in React and Hack(PHP). Scoped and implemented a QR service in C++ and Thrift that’ll be used for QR code extraction across Facebook platforms. Collaborated with XFN partners and drove projects to production by leading dogfooding sessions, conducting A/B tests, and iterating on analytical feedback.
Designed and implemented a soundboard for iOS Instagram Reels in Objective-C that allows users to compose sound effect tracks. Expanded the scope of the project and collaborated with full-time employees and XFN partners to drive it to production. Created an IG audio library that improves the audio processing workflow on multiple Facebook apps.
Spearheaded investigation on safe mode transition in autonomous driving systems by constructing a prototype algorithm in Python. Automated generation of 50+ adversarial driving scenarios. Authored a paper that’s published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library and won the Best Paper Award at the MIT URTC.
