Lastly, I conducted an experiment at a local middle school to assess the effectiveness of the implementation. ### Intern @ NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory Jan 2016 – Jan 2016 | Pasadena, CA During this summer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), I was tasked with creating a motion sensor system/network that would be able to do the following: 1. Log motion activity within a room with flexibility in the metric used to store the data 2. Automatically store this data in a cloud database 3. Read data in real-time to update a web application for visualization 4. Most importantly, be cost-effective and easy to mass replicate All of these goals were accomplished within my ten-week internship, and more. More details can be found in the project plan attached. ### Intern @ NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory Jan 2015 – Jan 2015 | Pasadena, CA During this summer, I worked in the Online Publishing department. My duty was to maintain and draft potential changes to some of JPL's public outreach/mission pages.
