The first was a webapp to view media content written in Vue.js and Ruby on Rails. The second was building an electron app to capture screen recordings written in React.js The third was a bug fixing team primarily focused on improving the quality of the electron app. ### Software Engineer @ SeniorVu Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | Kansas City, MO Building a large complex web application in a team using Vue.js, React.js, Graphql, and Sequelize. ### Owner @ Budgets by Hovee Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 | Kansas City, Missouri Area Budgets by Hovee is a personal budgeting web application I wrote to enable the unbudgeted and nominally budgeted to take control of their finances. After being frustrated with the products available in the marketplace I decided to write my own. Tools like csv file upload of transactions, transaction deduplication, budget templates, and balancing your budget with your bank account are the included features that set Budgets by Hovee apart. I built this software product using Vue.js for the frontend, Node.js (with express) for the backend, and Mongodb for the database. ### Software Engineer @ Pepper IoT Jan 2018 – Jan 2020 | Kansas City, Missouri Area Primarily working with NativeScript-Vue to build a mobile application in a team environment. Pepper is an IoT software provider and the primary technologies leveraged are AWS Lambda functions for a serverless backend, MongoDB, React, and NativeScript-Vue. ### Developer @ ActiveLogic Labs Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | Overland Park, KS Active Logic Labs is a SaaS company in Overland Park, KS producing high quality products for a diverse set of client needs. My role here is Front End Development working in a team to ensure fast, crisp, and light UI for internal APIs that maintain the same high standards. ### Developer @ VML Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 | 250 Richards Road Kansas City, MO 64116 United States Working with Drupal 8 and Vue.JS on a large web development project in a team environment utilizing the agile method. My favorite aspect of this current project is that we are giving the site a Single Page Application feel through the use of Vue.JS allowing us to achieve dynamic data updates without a page reload (similar to Angular and React). ### Junior Front End Developer @ Code Koalas Jan 2016 – Jan 2017 | Kansas City, Missouri Area Code Koalas is a web development start up that utilizes the power of Drupal to build awesome websites. Features typically included in a given website might include E-commerce, SEO optimization, enhanced security, and dynamically generated content. My responsibilities included feature requests and maintenance triage of pre-existing websites. Using an online ticketing system clients would submit feature requests and maintenance issues with their Drupal websites. I would interface with product owners and indirectly with clients to understand the request or issue, scope the work, and provide a solution. ### General Manager @ EMT-Express Medical Transporters Jan 2015 – Jan 2016 Branch Manager of non-emergency medical transportation company reporting to a corporate office in St. Charles, MO. Responsible for over 30 employees, a fleet of 35 vehicles, and the safe and timely transportation of no less than 5,000 customers every month. Managed operations through expert guidance, direction, and mentoring of three office staff, three training drivers, and twenty highly experienced drivers. ### Company Executive Officer @ US Army Jan 2015 – Jan 2015 | Fort Riley, Kansas In this position I managed two supply supervisors and two soldiers directly. I was responsible for a 48 million dollar property book and indirectly supervised 16 property holders. The Brigade I was in went through the process of deactivating which presented unique challenges as I led the responsible disposition and transfer of all equipment on the property book. ### Company Executive Officer @ US Army Jan 2013 – Jan 2014 | Fort Riley, KS As a Company Executive Officer in an Engineer Company I was responsible for: 1. the maintenance program of a 28 vehicle fleet, weapons, optics, and Engineer specific equipment through supervision of six senior leaders and fifty Soldiers. 2. the Company property book valued at $8,539,123.68 through direct supervision of the supply sergeant who was the subject matter expert. 3. the day to day operations of the company as well as training event which involved coordinating with outside agencies, procuring supplies and assets, the execution of that training, and the subsequent documentation of it. ### Platoon Leader @ US Army Jan 2012 – Jan 2013 | Fort Riley, KS/Paktika Province Afghanistan As a support Platoon Leader I was in charge of a 58 Soldier Platoon which included seven senior leaders reporting directly to me. My primary purpose in life was to receive missions and tasks from my superior in the form of Commander's Intent and then execute that guidance to standard whether the mission be a training event or a unique task. Upon being deployed to Afghanistan our mission set changed slightly to running daily combat logistics patrols between US bases.
