Currently working closely with designers, PMs, and developers internally and externally with clients like Crate & Barrel, WeWork, Hibbett Sports, Consumer Cellular, and Zazzle. In my managerial work, I co-lead product strategy with my partners in Product, provide design feedback, manage internal and cross-team efficiency, maintain project timelines and priorities, and present proposals to prospective clients and stakeholders. In my design work, I have a strong focus on building and maintaining design systems, designing and iterating on feature work, mapping and simplifying complex workflows, and leading holistic redesigns across both mobile and web.

• Founded a micro design studio where I've worked with a variety of startups and small businesses for design work such as: product design, design consulting, logo and brand development, creating visual design systems, splash images, pitch decks, marketing site design, and more.

• Also created illustrations and illustration systems for clients such as Netflix and Clockwise, musicians such as AIR APPARENT and Danyaal, and many more. Projects have included apparel design, logo design, portraits, editorial illustrations, advertising, and prints & stationery.

• Collaborated with departments across the company including the brand design, product design, marketing, sales, customer success, and people teams to create a wide variety of visual artifacts. These include ebooks, blog headers, presentations, event branding, company swag, ads, and much more.

• Hired as Duo Security's first product designer and led the team culture as it grew to its first 17 members.

• Redesigned core workflows of the Duo app including the 2FA prompt, and designed brand new features and sub-products on the Duo Admin Panel.

• Conducted user research, created personas, mapped out user workflows, made customer calls, and led large-scale design discovery workshops to inform design decisions.

I worked on a small team at Fetchnotes in Ann Arbor, MI and Boston, MA as their Graphic Designer where I developed and created logos, mascots, branding, merchandise, promotional graphics, and webcomics. My other responsibilities included designing layouts for the Fetchnotes mobile apps, web app, and desktop app as well as marketing through our blog, Facebook group, and Twitter.

I worked in a small sub-team of the ICU team at Epic developing a new activity in their software, Hyperspace, to visualize bilirubin levels in infants and help clinicians make decisions based on their lab results. I created the activity from scratch to work in addition to their existing code base using C#, JavaScript, and ASP.Net. I led project management, created design documents and mockups, spoke with experienced professionals on the topic of hyperbilirubinemia, and conducted presentations to report the information to my colleagues and mentors.

I interned on the Operations Engineering team at ITC where I developed Visual Basic programs for team members to increase efficiency in record keeping. I also worked on the Michigan power map to add new/missing power stations, remove obsolete stations, and update station connections to one another.

I worked as IT Support in Troy, MI where I set up and maintaining company server and workstations, resolved any computer software and hardware problems, and helped employees with any computer-to-smartphone issues.
