I’m also a low-key operations nerd who finds joy in making things run smoother (and I love a good spreadsheet). ## Work Experience ### Lead Product Designer @ Heady Jan 2023 – Present | New York, United States Currently working closely with designers, PMs, and developers internally and externally with clients like Crate & Barrel, WeWork, Hibbett Sports, Consumer Cellular, and Zazzle. In my managerial work, I co-lead product strategy with my partners in Product, provide design feedback, manage internal and cross-team efficiency, maintain project timelines and priorities, and present proposals to prospective clients and stakeholders. These include ebooks, blog headers, presentations, event branding, company swag, ads, and much more. • Helped develop and maintain a visual identity across the marketing site and in-product. • Created images and vector animations to show product functionality and features. ### Illustrator @ Clockwise Jan 2019 – Jan 2021 | San Francisco, California, United States ### Senior UX Designer @ Censys Jan 2021 – Jan 2021 | Remote • Collaborated closely with pods of engineers, product managers, and designers on product features for safety and security, data organization, and 3rd-party integrations. • Led cross-functional workshops to align teams, and provided critique and guidance on design projects. ### Senior Product Designer @ LoanSense Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | Remote • Worked closely with the PM/CEO and mentored a junior designer. • Designed the onboarding flow and dashboards to help users understand their loans, assess whether they should refinance, and stay on track with their payments and goals. • Created wireframes, mockups, design specs, and clickable prototypes. • Provided guidance for product and hiring decisions, gave critique on designs. ### Senior Product Designer @ Turo Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | San Francisco Bay Area • Worked with product and growth teams (engineers, PMs, and designers) to improve and develop new features for discovering and booking cars. • Managed stakeholders, timelines, and goals on high-visibility features for driver safety. • Led and participated in discovery, brainstorming, and critique workshops. • Helped refine team processes for better project management and communication. ### Senior Product Designer @ DoorDash Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | San Francisco Bay Area • Worked closely with PMs and designers to improve the ordering experience, explore social proofing features, and design a new incentives model for the Dasher team. ### Data & Analytics Product Designer @ Duo Security Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 | Remote from San Francisco • Partnered with PMs to conduct customer research to inform the roadmap, gather feedback in a long-term customer beta-testing program, and iterate on product functionality based on the calls. • Designed brand new reports, data visualizations, table structures, and other ways of communicating data that were actionable and easy-to-use for security admins. • Worked side-by-side with Engineering and PMs to deliver and integrate the new analytics platform as we grew it from an MVP to a powerful tool for our users. • Paired with designers on the same team and across other teams to critique work and produce informed and user-tested designs. • Mentored other designers and gave presentations on product updates, communication and feedback best practices, and remote work culture. ### Product Designer I & II @ Duo Security Jan 2015 – Jan 2017 | Ann Arbor, MI and Remote from San Francisco, CA • Hired as Duo Security's first product designer and led the team culture as it grew to its first 17 members. • Redesigned core workflows of the Duo app including the 2FA prompt, and designed brand new features and sub-products on the Duo Admin Panel. • Prototyped solutions for usability testing and communicating designs to developers and PMs. • Conducted user research, created personas, mapped out user workflows, made customer calls, and led large-scale design discovery workshops to inform design decisions. • Started and led the Product Design Office Hours initiative at the company to foster a collaborative environment for designers, developers, PMs, and other departments. • Led team workshops to develop and implement a set of design principles. ### Graphic Designer @ Fetchnotes Jan 2012 – Jan 2015 | Cambridge, MA // Ann Arbor, MI I worked on a small team at Fetchnotes in Ann Arbor, MI and Boston, MA as their Graphic Designer where I developed and created logos, mascots, branding, merchandise, promotional graphics, and webcomics. My other responsibilities included designing layouts for the Fetchnotes mobile apps, web app, and desktop app as well as marketing through our blog, Facebook group, and Twitter. ### Software Development Intern @ Epic Jan 2014 – Jan 2014 | Verona, WI I worked in a small sub-team of the ICU team at Epic developing a new activity in their software, Hyperspace, to visualize bilirubin levels in infants and help clinicians make decisions based on their lab results. I created the activity from scratch to work in addition to their existing code base using C#, JavaScript, and ASP.Net. I led project management, created design documents and mockups, spoke with experienced professionals on the topic of hyperbilirubinemia, and conducted presentations to report the information to my colleagues and mentors. ### Operations Intern @ ITC Holdings Corp. Jan 2012 – Jan 2012 | Novi, MI I interned on the Operations Engineering team at ITC where I developed Visual Basic programs for team members to increase efficiency in record keeping.
