Built the full-stack web product from scratch: a shared backend API for both the web and native mobile app, a landing page, an onboarding flow for founders to set up their raise and a dashboard to manage it

Engineered a real time investment feed to display all recent investments made on Wefunder’s platform as an additional page on the explore view of the website which gets ~500k unique visitors each month

Used reading and writing to a Redis list to maintain order of recent investments, as well as a Redis hash to serialize relevant investment information to satisfy the requirement of fast load-time

Built a map to display the locations of currently fundraising companies using the Mapbox API

Engineered the project end-to-end and acted as a product manager by reaching out to relevant stakeholders to figure out which features should be included

Integrated internal data with the map to produce informative interactive states on each of the company markers

Added an alternative way for potential investors to browse through companies on the explore page which gets ~500k unique visitors each month

Created an internal dashboard for founders displaying their current fundraise statistics, including: volume of investments over time, breakdown of investor type, status of money processing, and investor conversion rate

Constructed informative and easily understandable graphs and charts with the Highcharts library using data harnessed from our page traffic Google Analytics data via the GA4 API

Became a lead guide and effectively trained a new guide during an overnight backpacking trip to Angel Island
