APX Market Window System
The APX Market Window was an electronic marketplace, open 24x7, where energy buyers and sellers could place their orders.
Lead the GUI team on the development of the Market Window product.
Used Visual Studio (Visual Basic) for the GUI screens, ADO and C++ to connect to the Oracle database.
Did design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of the main MDI screens and all the smaller forms associated with them.
Used the Objective Grid control for data display and user input.
Created help files and internationalization of the application.
Other tasks include unit testing, debugging, documenting code, and creating builds for QA.

Responsible for the GUI module and involved in setting up the Oracle database for development and production.
Involved in the design of the GUI.
Developed GUI on Windows platform using Visual Basic, Active Suite, Spread and Crystal Reports.
Used ERwin for data modeling and SQL*Loader for loading data into the database.

Responsible for the GUI. Supervised the work of two software engineers.

Assisted in customizing the product for Continental Cargo.
Project: Retail Electric Yield Management System (RYMS)
Maintained the database (Sybase) for the project. Used ERwin for data modeling.
Modified and enhanced the underlying computational engine for the application using C++ on a UNIX environment.
Maintained client relationships with Oklahoma Gas & Electricity (OG&E) and Central Illinois Public Services (CIPS) on a regular basis.
