CSCI E-10A & E-10B: Introduction to Computer Science Using Java I & II

Studied core data structures like arrays, lists, stacks, queues, trees, and graphs. Focused on algorithm analysis, recursion, and efficient problem-solving techniques.

CSCI E-33A: Web Programming with Python and JavaScript

Built full-stack web apps using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python (Flask). Covered front-end design, back-end development, APIs, and client-server communication.

CSCI E-59: Designing and Developing Relational and NoSQL Databases

Covered relational (SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. Focused on schema design, data modeling, normalization, queries, and database integration with apps.

My primary responsibility is to maintain the supply of goods at Metro’s central warehouse in order to ensure product availability for all Croatian Metro stores.

This entails sending orders to suppliers, both international and domestic, tracking orders, and coordinating and combining goods for transport.

My second major responsibility is generating the daily logistics report regarding Metro’s most profitable, highest turnover goods. In this report, I compile information of goods that fall into one of three categories: presently available, pending availability, and non-deliverable.

My tertiary responsibility is to keep track of old and nearly-expired goods. I must promptly distribute goods nearing their expiration date while also coordinating price decreases with category managers.

Finally, I am in constant communication with category managers and master data department regarding new, replacement and discontinued articles.

This position was located in Metro headquarters in Zagreb, Croatia. I and my team handled all Metro wholesale retailers within the entire country.

My primary responsibilities consisted of managing and coordinating the import/export of goods and ensuring said goods were processed through customs unhindered. This entailed talking to customs officials, talking to sanitation inspectors, as well as maintaining a working knowledge of current import regulations.

In addition to the aforementioned, I was also tasked with resolving disputes between Metro wholesale stores and suppliers, along with rectifying discrepancies in incoming orders, as necessary.
