As a senior full stack engineer, I work on foundational features reaching wide across the stack, notably application security and I18n features. I also do a lot of code reviews and help raise the quality of our code, fault tolerance, and product user friendliness.

As one of the engineers in the team with most experience with both RoR and Vue.js, I spend much time introducing ways to leverage our tools and good habits including: introducing test frameworks and patterns, leveraging and extending core Ruby on Rails functionality, raising awareness of good and bad UI/UX patterns, introducing performance optimizations, and encouraging simpler and more maintainable patterns of frontend development (there are too many ways to shoot yourself in the foot therein).

GoodRx fulfills a critical need for Americans: access to affordable healthcare. More than a source for prescription discounts, GoodRx is rapidly growing into the online hub for all things healthcare.

At GoodRx, I enjoy the opportunity to expand my expertise in technologies I've had little experience in otherwise, and to a degree of rigor that has raised my expectations of how software should be written. I'm grateful to learn from the many teams eager to leverage the latest technologies, in a responsible manner, tackling a highly relevant problem space. Whilst I continue to hope for societal improvements in healthcare, I'm glad to have my efforts impact people's lives positively, today.
