# Maks Moros > Dreamer. Builder. Engineer at Aris Data. (x-Meta Reality Labs, x-Instagram, x-42) Location: New York, New York, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/maks I'm a hardware and software engineer, former founder, and lifelong builder. I am currently at Aris Data, where I'm helping lead and build the infrastructure behind a multimodal training data platform for AI. We are on a mission to provide the highest-quality training data to model builders and other intelligent systems to power the future of AI, robotics, and autonomy. Previously, I worked at Meta Reality Labs, contributing to next-generation research and development in AR/VR space and cutting-edge future hardware technologies. Prior to that I worked at Instagram Shopping. After university, I founded multiple companies, including Vestiq, a crowdsourced app for fashion advice that merged UGC with real-time social feedback. That entrepreneurial spirit continues to shape how I approach product and platform development today – balancing technical depth with user-centric thinking. I also built a hardware product called ShieldNexus which was a global finalist for the IBM Call For Code Challenge. During my time in university I founded two companies, one which was a low-cost WiFi system for the town where I went to school, and the other which was a camera system that measured how many people were in the streets to understand traffic around bars and social venues (it relied on the WiFi system I developed). Both were revenue-generating businesses. With a background in electrical engineering and an international MBA, my experience spans embedded systems, mobile and web platforms, and scalable backend infrastructure. I'm especially drawn to solving hard problems at the intersection of AI, systems, and human interaction. Always curious, always building. Let’s connect. ## Work Experience ### Senior Software Engineer & Lead Architect @ Aris Data Jan 2024 – Present | New York, United States Aris is building the complete multimodal training data platform to power global AI/ML models, autonomy, and robotics.
