# Manasi Saraswate > Staff Product Designer at Intuit Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/manasisaraswate I am a Product Designer based in San Francisco with a background in Architecture. With my background, I see myself as a systems thinker passionate to solve complex systems and craft experiences for and with the people. With this passion, I am currently helping small businesses get paid using QuickBooks. Previously, I was designing experiences at Sunrun to help customers track their process right from signing the agreement to the installation of the system. Sunrun is a residential solar company providing solar panels to homeowners. I love to entangle the complexity of the process and make the customer experience seamless, useful, and delightful. In my past project and professional experiences, I have involved myself in the collaborative design process right from user research and conceptualizing to sketching, iterating, and rapid prototyping. As a part of the Sunrun Design team, I enjoy the end-to-end design process involving other team members, learning from them, and making the right design decisions. As an architect, I have also led the team working on a campus planning project wherein I was involved in the design evolution to make the design cohesive and accessible. My areas of interest and specialties: User Experience Design, Interaction Design, UI Design, Mockups, Design Thinking, Design Research, Storytelling, Human-centered Design and Innovation, Opportunity area identification, User Flows, Wireframing, High Fidelity Prototyping, User Testing, 3D Prototyping and Rendering, Service Design, Spatial Design, Game Design. ## Work Experience ### Staff Product Designer @ Intuit Jan 2024 – Present | Mountain View, California, United States During my one year in this role, I focused on both new experiences and enhancements needed to the existing experiences within the QuickBooks Payments space. A key initiative was the collaboration with the Shared Experiences team to launch a new, improved, and consistent ‘Sales and Get Paid’ app overview page in Fusion. This involved managing cross-functional stakeholders, influencing page framework decisions with customer insights and data, and rapidly delivering detailed designs, resulting in increased customer engagement. Additionally, I led the vision work for ‘Early merchant experience’ i.e. experience for users who have just signed up for payment and have not gotten paid yet. This included conducting discovery research, translating vision into concepts, and utilizing AI tools for synthesis, brainstorming, and visual creation to influence the roadmap. I also led and coached designers across several key areas during this period, including templates/customization of sales forms, invoice UI optimization and AI in invoicing. ### Senior Product Designer @ Intuit Jan 2021 – Jan 2024 | Mountain View, California, United States On the QuickBooks Invoicing team, my focus was to migrate users to a new experience. I collaborated with designers to establish frameworks and principles, while individually designing and shipping over 8 features. I also defined key migration touchpoints and mentored other designers to improve delivery speed and quality. These efforts led to 97% feature parity, expediting migration, increasing adoption and “Create to Pay-enabled Invoice sent rate." Additionally, I led various small to medium cross-product initiatives and experiments aimed at simplifying online payments for small and medium-sized businesses. ### Senior Product Designer @ Intuit Jan 2021 – Jan 2023 | Toronto, Ontario, Canada ### Product Designer @ Intuit Jan 2019 – Jan 2021 | Mountain View, California, United States As a design lead for the QuickBooks Commerce order management team, I spearheaded rapid experimentation and iterative design based on customer insights. Later, I transitioned to the QuickBooks Payments team, where I designed and launched the Payment Links feature, overseeing the entire process from research and concept creation to testing and detail design delivery. ### Experience Designer @ Sunrun Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | San Francisco, California, United States Designed online and offline customer experiences. This included interactions across mobile, retail, web, and in-person services such as sales, installation, support etc. My work encompassed the end-to-end design process, from conducting customer research to understand the pain points and get feedback on our designs, facilitating stakeholder workshops to drive and influence the roadmap to synthesizing observations, developing user flows, service blueprints, and building prototypes for design delivery. ### Graduate Teaching Assistant @ California College of the Arts Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 | San Francisco, California, United States Gave short lectures on famous architects and their works.
