### Data Scientist Intern @ Oracle

During my internship at Oracle, my primary focus was to improve multi-label text classification model for Oracle "topics". To achieve this, I introduced and worked on ideas to build rich feature set for topic discovery model by developing targeted web crawler to extract keywords  and annotations to build training set. 

I also developed visualization tools in JavaScript, for timeline based event reporting and multi-label text classification - D3.js tree visualization with features like drill down, context analysis, etc. These tools where integrated it into Oracle OBIEE. These tools hacked complex data visualization problems of Advanced Business Intelligence team and Marketing Analytics team.

### Software Quality Assurance Engineer @ Symantec

My responsibility was to ensure the quality of Veritas Volume Manager and that it meets product standards. This included writing and automating test cases for every new features and setting up gamut of test environments. 

During my stint at Symantec, I presented several ideas, one of the major being Test Launchpad, a central place to add, execute and monitor tests and generate reports. This surely offloaded lot of work from the team. 

I also addressed customer tickets and worked with different teams to promptly resolve them. For my contributions I was recognized with Symantec Applause Award in 2012, 2013, 2014.
