ParAccel, a high-performance analytic MPP database acquired by Actian and serving as the core technology behind Amazon Redshift, was the focus of my work. I designed and developed parallel data connectors—taking them from prototype to production—to enable high-speed data movement between multiple database clusters, laying the foundation for replication and federated database support. I collaborated directly with prospective clients to address their needs using these connectors and also led and mentored the India-based team responsible for database drivers.

Designed and developed enhanced versions of the parallel Hadoop connector, enabling seamless integration of Hadoop data using standard SQL UDFs and MapReduce jobs.
