I'm Mandy Ranero, I'm a recent graduate at Flatiron School for Software Engineering with experience in React, JavaScript, Flask, Python, AWS, SQLAlchemy. Previously, I was working as a cheese monger and tutor by day and a comedian in New York City by night. I studied chemistry and chemical engineering in college, I loved everything about it - the process of problem solving, the way you have to think outside of the box, and the collaboration with others. After college, I moved to New York City where I took and improv class and fell in love with performing. I had never been on stage before and boy did I like it! To keep my engineering brain active, I tutored college students in math and chemistry. Soon, I transition into tutoring a wide range of students in many different topics, including executive functioning. After making people laugh for 6 years, I decided to go back to my other love - engineering. I missed thinking outside of the box and I missed learning new things. So I applied to Flatiron School and it has been incredible, I love the school and love software engineering. Implement Typeform webhooks, OpenAI, and ElevenLabs API to create automated, AI generated stories based on user inputs. Establish flow based on product status and Loftie device firmware that simultaneously sends emails to customers and playlists configurations to Loftie alarm clock. Integrate a React front-end website for Loftie employees to streamline customer information management held in Firestore. Collaborate with a cross-functional team including production design, phone application, and customer service to ensure excellent product quality and customer experience. ### Math, Science, and Executive Functioning Tutor @ City Smarts Jan 2018 – Present | New York City Specialized tutor in calculus, chemistry, and executive functioning. I help students get their test, quiz, and grades higher by giving individualized guidance in advanced concepts.
