Grew order volume by 6X relative to the APIs’ first iteration
2. Productized DoorDash Drive incentives based on efficiency metrics
Allowed Sales to market and broaden Drive product offerings
New Cadence automations reduced manual labor by 75% for internal employees
3. Developed new pipeline features to process email orders
Leveraged AWS SES, S3 and Kafka to create a more scalable and maintainable system
Increased volume in the Manhattan market by 5X per day
4. Designed and implemented new REST API to accept real-time order updates from restaurants, rendering improved fulfillment accuracy, efficiency, and visibility

Working at Cloud IAM team, which is providing identity and access management capabilities for Cerner’s cloud solution platforms. Mainly focusing on continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) software development model.
Participated in the optimization and maintenance of the solution that deploys the team’s over 30 applications to AWS, by improving deployment workflow and adding troubleshooting tools.
Applied new implementation of job triggering logic on the team’s infrastructure Jenkins platform, which is managed by Chef, hosted on AWS EC2 and responsible for AMI related jobs (Packer, Terraform, etc.). The deliverable optimized the platform’s performance by reducing the number of AWS API calls by 89%, which is a big save of Jenkins resource.
Enhanced the security posture of the team’s web applications by adding Content-Security-Policy HTTP response header to the servers. After the enhancement, the number of potential cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks was reduced by 94%.
Assisted with the design and full-stack development of an application providing authentication and authorization service to users, devices, and systems. Completed the conversion of the most important and functional page, using JavaScript. With the upgrade from traditional DOM to React, the app’s front-end interaction is now more efficient and modernized.
2017 — 2017

Worked at AWS S3 team.
Built an event logging system for tracking storage index partition events.
Responsible for communicating with business stakeholders and crafting the system design capable of reliably logging partition events of multiple million storage partitions, guaranteed zero data loss with no latency impact.
Implemented the above design following standard scrum process and delivered the expected features with full test coverage on time.
Applied state of art technologies such as DynamoDB to achieve fast and reliable log persistence. Additionally, followed Object Oriented Design principles to ensure high reusability and extensibility of my code.
Used multi-threading techniques to minimize latency impact caused by extra logging activities introduced by this feature.
