# Manqing Yu > Design & Research in Meaningful Learning Experiences & AI Solutions | CMU HCII '24 Location: United States, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/manqing I’ve been piecing together various aspects of my life’s journey as a product designer, researcher in Social Sciences, and educator. Beyond these positions, I'm a naturally curious human, an advocate for human-centered innovation, and a practitioner of bridging the gap between research production and design action. I enjoy navigating through intricate surface details, peeling away layers to reveal the simplest, yet most impactful solution, and bringing ideas to life through collaboration. I aspire to go further after discovering the profound impact one can have on others in my early career as an educator. When I empower others, I feel empowered myself. ## Work Experience ### Learning Designer @ TikTok Jan 2025 – Present | San Jose, California, United States ### Research Assistant @ CMU Human-Computer Interaction Institute Jan 2024 – Present | Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States Worked on the Learning Sciences for Innovators Program, sponsored by the MasterCard Foundation to support and collaborate with African educational practitioners.
