Jan 2019 – Jan 2020 | San Francisco Bay Area The ReadyFire team became the newly created SkillzTV product group. Our Focus was to build the platform to create, launch, and run interactive game shows. The primary objective was to showcase new and popular games within the Skillz ecosystem to users in a new and exciting way with the end goal of lowering the cost of user acquisition. The SkillzTV initiative was placed on hold due to Covid restrictions. - Participated in ideation and defining SkillzTV product strategy. - Designed interactive prototypes of the MVP concepts that came out of the ideation and presented them to stakeholders (UI+UX, animation, gameshow motion graphics, and app prototypes) - Designed an internal platform to create, run, and host a live game show. - Hired and managed a small design team As part of the Product Design Leadership Team within Skillz I was actively involved in the hiring process, hosted/participated in design reviews, and mentored designers throughout the product groups. ### Director Of Product Design @ Readyfire (acquired) Jan 2017 – Jan 2019 | San Francisco Bay Area Venture-backed free-to-play sports games with real cash prizes! The originator of Daily Fantasy Gaming. Founded in 2008 by Mike Levy former founder and CEO of CBSSports/Sportsline. - Directly managed design and video production teams aiding Product, Sales, and Marketing - Designed and ideated user interfaces for fantasy sports games, including mobile apps - Developed marketing campaigns for products from brainstorm through creation - Created branding and style guides for OPENSports.com web property and fantasy sports products ### Senior Web Designer @ CBS Sports - CBS Interactive Jan 2005 – Jan 2008 | Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area - Planned and launched the redesign of CBSSports – started with research/wireframes and ending with overseeing engineering implementation of high-fidelity mockups (included design specs and interaction guide) - Owned and maintained UI design consistency. - Designed micro-sites, advertisements and sponsorships for high profile companies. - Designed the Emmy Award-winning NCAA March Madness on Demand video players in 2007 and 2008.
