Led Bitbucket Cloud internal Developer Experience team managing AWS hosted development environment; the entire Bitbucket Cloud CI/CD build, test, and production deploy pipeline; managed other product level integrations.

• SME – Bitbucket Cloud, Git, Bitbucket Pipelines CI/CD, and the Atlassian Suite.

• Integrated Bitbucket deeper with Atlassian Identity as part of cross-organization work to comply with GDPR, which provided users a centralized way to manage their privacy and identity across the Atlassian Suite.

• Mentored engineers on feature leading, testing, observability, and taught newly hired engineers about Bitbucket Cloud at a weeklong bootcamp called Hack House.

• Contributed to Bitbucket Cloud’s technical shift from the datacenter to AWS by providing enhanced remote development environment tooling using Pulumi and Terraform.

• During the office closures of 2020, I hosted our first three fully remote ShipIt hackathons to improve morale.

Feature led and built a billing aggregation service that is responsible for tracking millions of Bitbucket Pipelines usage minutes, enabling Bitbucket Cloud to improve its revenue significantly.

• Delivered Two-Factor Authentication; numerous tests, bug fixes and enhancements; and contributed numerous features to Connect - a cloud native plugin framework.

• Contributed constantly to internal and external documentation, paired with other engineers to grow my skills, and helped manage multiple incidents.

Partnered with Product and Engineering to improve the customer experience of Bitbucket Cloud on an ongoing basis.

• Managed communications for the Bitbucket Cloud team’s Twitter & social media presence.

• Organized knowledge for support engineers; then hired and trained support staff across multiple time zones.

• Gave technical talks on Git usage and internals to multiple audiences, including an interpreted talk in Seoul, Korea.
