My name is Marcus Crowder, I'm a polymath, and I was born in Guyana, South America. When I was 14 years old, I moved to New York, where I began teaching myself Python and using it to create gaming bots. I studied Statistics and Quantitative Modeling at Baruch College with a focus in Unsupervised Machine learning, and after graduation, I began working as a Software Engineer at Plaid.

Fun facts:
- Before coming to New York, my family lived on multiple islands in the Caribbean, including Saba and 
  Saint Maarten.
- I played on the Traveling  Little League World Series Caribbean team when I lived on Saint Maarten 
  between the ages of 9 and 12.
- College Track Star
- While living on Saint Maarten, I learned three different languages simultaneously: French, Dutch, 
   and Spanish. After moving to New York, I forgot most of them except for "un petit pas" in French.

One of the first engineers on Core Exchange, which is Plaid's platform for how banking platforms integrate with Plaid. Contributor across our whole stack -- front-end, back-end, and infrastructure -- as we took this product successfully to market. Wrote one pagers and technical specifications that underwent review by the entire Plaid engineering team for a number of key features -- expediting our ability to onboard more banks, faster onto our platform.
