# Marcus Guimaraes > Software Engineer Location: Brooklyn, New York, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/marcusguimaraes I am a software engineer with experience in logistics, cloud computing, and game development. At Veho, I work on software that powers our logistics network. I was a core contributor for the service that orchestrates packages for optimally efficient deliveries. I also work on software that directs facility sortation activities. Previously, as a member of our Route Success team, I owned software that powered delivery drivers on the road. I formerly worked at Amazon Web Services as an Application Development consultant. In this role, my responsibilities included designing and developing front-ends for web applications, converting a proof-of-concept API into production-ready TypeScript, and contributing to a cloud security management system that monitored 800 AWS accounts. Formerly of NYU's Future Reality Lab, where we explored the potential of social VR to transform storytelling settings. Studying under Ken Perlin, we created multi-user experiences that used the presence of other audience members to augment narratives. These productions were featured at Future of Storytelling Festival 2017 and ACM SIGGRAPH 2018. My strongest skills include AWS Serverless, TypeScript, and Unity. I also have experience in augmented/virtual reality, Python, Rust, Lua, and C#. These days, I'm using AI/LLMs to deliver results faster than ever. Outside of work, I am a game developer, musician, and cat dad. I'm an avid tabletop gamer and D&D player. ## Work Experience ### Senior Software Engineer @ Veho Jan 2022 – Present | Remote Route Success team 2022-2024 Network team 2024-2025 Core contributor to package scheduling service.
