Achieved a 65% onboarding completion rate, 3x activation rates, and increased early lifecycle retention by ~25% within one year post-launch, surpassing quarterly targets. Defined and pioneered the 'reusable app' framework for seamless, subscription-free user acquisition across various use cases, like payments, banking and taxes. Onboarding: Spearheaded the user-onboarding design within a 3-month timeline, achieving a 25% improvement over benchmarks, a 60% reduction in completion time, and a 53% initial user conversion rate. This design still remains 80-90% intact (as of mid-2024) and a crucial gateway into the org's product suite. Instant deposit: Launched instant-deposit (fee-free) payment channels, capturing ~45% of charge volume at launch and a 60% first-time user conversion (as of Dec 2020). My work focussed on not just to enhance the educational experience of students online, but also to assist and develop comfortable instruction that is intuitive for instructors of various age groups and experience in teaching online courses. Created visual mocks to paint a picture of the entire course and instruction method for senior faculty who were new to online teaching. ### Product Design Intern @ Intuit Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | Plano, Texas Worked as the sole Design Intern in the Texas office, on two projects: Document management for accountants - to help generate faster tax returns and the 'One Intuit Accountant' project - to design a seamless experience between Intuit’s accounting and tax products. Conducted 15+ user interviews with early lo-fi a/b testing and usability tests along with the chief user researcher. Drew insights on users' pain, aligned them with business goals and iterated in lo-fi before deliberating on shipping decisions. Researched current product experiences, interviewed stakeholders from across Intuit and used storyboarding and journey-mapping frameworks to gather empathy for users. Mapped transitions from current to ideal product states, that would reduce customer call and training costs, generate faster account setups and drive the ‘One Intuit’ brand identity. Participated in Service Blueprinting, rapid prototyping and doodled visual maps to empower team brainstorming. As a side project, created 30 prototypes, in 30 days each in under 30 minutes each. Collaborated with the development and sales interns and helped design their final outputs. Presented my work to the Senior Leadership Team of Intuit, Texas. ### Solutions Architect II @ Akamai Technologies Jan 2016 – Jan 2017 | Bangalore, India As an expert in the Performance Specialist team, my role focussed on assisting stakeholders like sales and marketing with respect to web performance and help them to understand the impact on user experience alongside the common business goals. Groomed the middle-level and new-hires of the team and especially mentored four team members within a span of 3-4 months enabling them to become vital dependent assets to the team. Helped streamline work processes in a growing team by working with professional services, for on-boarding POCs and also consulted for customers predominantly in the North American region. Managed the marketing of my team with designing annual and quarterly newsletters, infographics and organized metrics and team data.
