# Marissa Gilman > Women’s health strategist | AI & data infrastructure for equitable care | Wharton MBA Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/marissagilman I've spent nearly 15 years working across the health ecosystem — consulting, pharma, government, academic medical centers, and startups — because the most important problems affect everyone. I work with healthcare leaders at the intersection of strategy, operations, and innovation, helping organizations move from complex problems to executable plans. That's meant shaping AI product strategy, building cross-sector partnerships, designing operational infrastructure for faster and better implementations, and closing gaps in clinical research. I'm drawn to work where systems thinking, human-centered design, and a bias toward action converge. My particular passion is women's health, a field where investment, innovation, and collaboration could meaningfully change outcomes. As a breast cancer survivor, that work is personal. My experience shapes how I think about the strategy, the human-centered design of innovation, and the systems that impact patient care. But the through-line across everything I do is the same: helping mission-driven organizations build something that actually works. ## Work Experience ### Strategic Initiatives Lead @ University of California, San Francisco Jan 2024 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area Entity Launch: Steering the strategy and operational design of a new UCSF offering focused on translating women's health research into real-world applications.
