In October of 2022 I moved to our Demand Generation team to own all GTM for Partner Marketing, and to build Intercom’s Global Webinar Program.
Today Intercom's webinar program is one of the top performing demand generation channels, and a key component in the strategies for Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Customer Success, and Customer Onboarding.
Our webinar program averages 50+ webinars per quarter, and generates millions of New and Expansion ARR pipeline and closed-won business.
→ In my first 3 months I developed and launched Intercom's v1 webinar program while owning all content planning, production, and execution. Our initial strategy beat targets for net new leads, MQLs, S2 pipeline, and closed-won ARR for new and expansion business.
→ In early 2023 I developed and launched version 2 of our program, which included evaluating, selecting, and onboarding a new webinar platform (Goldcast), as well as honing our content calendar to align with new company objectives and strategies across Marketing, Sales, R&D, and Support.
→ By late 2023 the webinar program became one of our highest ROI marketing channels and was expanded outside of Demand Generation to support our Customer Success and Customer Onboarding teams, including programming in Spanish and Portuguese.
→ As of 2024 our webinar program is a critical channel across all of our marketing campaigns, averages 50+ webinars per quarter, and generates millions in ARR across New and Expansion business.
Other key projects included:
→ Working with our content team to develop and launch Intercom's Content Hierarchy system to align our GTM planning and execution across Content, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and R&D.
→ Launching and running our Start Good Trouble startup and founder webinar series.
→ Building an in-house webinar studio and training cross-functional team members on best practices for executing webinars and virtual events.
