Main project worked on was CONSUL, a free software platform for citizen participation sponsored by the City Council of Madrid.

• Shipped features for application used by 90+ local governments

• Reviewed code by external contributors

• Was offered job on the core team after my consulting contract ended

Fullstack web developer, but leaning heavily back-end. Also performed data science duties.

• Promoted within 9 months, largely taking over responsibilities of team's most senior developer following his departure.

• Led development of the company's fastest-growing and most profitable product. This involved coordinating integration of multiple Rails microservices.

• Created container-based solution for easily and reliably running and networking all services in a development environment (Docker, Nginx).

• Developed acceptance test suite to test complex, state-changing features across services (Capybara, Selenium).

• Started the company's program for data extraction, processing, visualization and analysis. This included training machine learning models to perform lead scoring and predict a user's eligibility for different financial products. Initial results were very promising, but the project was put on hold due to limited company resources.
