The sole member of the engineering team for roughly the first three months at Chewse, and helped re-build and grow the engineering/product team.
Technologies included: Django, Node.js, AWS, Heroku, Vue.js, Angular
•Optimized Chewse's data warehousing/ETL pipeline using Stitch and DBT.
•Helped define internal best practices and implemented a service oriented architecture in Django.
•Helped devise and document a team rollback strategy in case of a bad migration or deployment.
•Architected and implemented an internal decoupled front end server using Node.js.
•Helped architect and built the new Meal System which allowed customers and internal users to easily define and re-plan meals for clients based on dietary restrictions, head count, and other options.
•Architected and implemented a recurring event system to efficiently handle clients ordering on a schedule (for example weekly meals on M, W, and F).
•Took on many lead responsibilities, which included interviewing, on-boarding, mentoring, and offering guidance and feedback to other engineers on the team.
•Worked closely with the product team to define tickets, provide estimates, and plan sprints.
