Proposed solution for how to build out access control and got eng org buy-in. Also wrote RFCs for how to integrate Community Looms with future features. * Delivered first integration between Loom web app and marketing site. Since launch, have seen a 4% spike in viewer engagement metrics ### Software Engineer @ Loom Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States DRI (Directly Responsible Individual) for Engagement Squad, one of 5 squads working on cross-team redesign of Loom with introduction of LoomHQ. Engagement Squad features included: the addition of hashtags to organize content, adding following for users and tags with pushes for updates, and key foundational discoverability/access work (posting) to allow users to decide when content should be discoverable for all features across LoomHQ (including the aforementioned but also search/the new home feed/etc.) Also led first project in posted-content density push to increase posted content, prompting posting on Loom link share in Slack. On day of launch, there was a 3% spike in posted content. This was also my teams first feature building upon the Slack app as a product platform and involved discovery work for the best way to pass data between the apps.
