# Mary S. > Senior Product Designer @ FieldRoutes (ServiceTitan) Location: New York, New York, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/mary Drawing on a decade of experience, I excel at combining macro-level systems thinking with micro-level design to create user-centric products that are both efficient and delightful. My adaptable approach allows me to work at different cadences, from producing detailed specifications to executing rapid, iterative designs with developers, always driven by thoughtful strategy. I'm also passionate about refining internal processes, recognizing that operational efficiency enables more innovative and iterative product development. My focus extends beyond design execution to the strategic impact of user experience, driven by a curiosity in the 'ROI of Sentimentality'. This perspective, along with research into strategic pitching and AI for UX, informs my holistic approach to product design. I continuously seek ways to optimize workflows and inject innovation into established processes, ensuring that thoughtful vision and user joy remain at the forefront of the product design journey. ## Work Experience ### Senior Product Designer @ FieldRoutes, a ServiceTitan company Jan 2023 – Present FieldRoutes is an all-in-one service for Pest Control businesses of all sizes and specialties. I lead the experience design for the Technician Manager's web and mobile experience as well as the Technician's mobile app experience that's used to setup and manage the workflow of the Tech while they're administering services that control pests in the field, both residentially and commercially. Internally I've been ideating and crafting 'best practice' programs for user research, usability testing, and creating product artifacts, as well as organize our design system for Tech Mobile. ### Senior Product Designer @ Flashpoint Jan 2023 – Jan 2023 Flashpoint is an multifunctional search tool used by security analysts at many types of companies to scour the corners of the internet for cyber security issues, critical threats both online and offline and human or drug trafficking, to name of few of their specialties. In my short-term (7 weeks) contract role, covering for someone on parental leave, I researched the legacy tool and competitors for feature analysis, designed screens using the robust design system they had built, and prototyped / usability tested two new approaches to setting advanced filtering. This included creating a new component for an "Include / Exclude" toggle that will be implemented across all filter dropdowns across the platform. To validate these designs, I worked with the Sr UX Researcher to do usability testing between two design versions and analyze/organize the findings of the test to validate the next steps. Additionally, I finalized a few designs that the designer I was covering for had not completely finished or updated with tests results. (She left me in such great hands though :) ) ### Senior Product Designer @ Avvir Jan 2021 – Jan 2023 | Remote Avvir is a software platform that brings transparency to construction using reality capture and machine learning technologies. We enable teams to track building progress and catch mistakes before major rework is required. We continuously update a digital replica of a building, enabling our clients to stay informed about their buildings and own up-to-date, accurate as-builts. ### Product Designer III @ iHeartRadio Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 | Remote iHeart is a multifaceted company that spans multiple devices and experiences in bringing live radio, podcasts, playlists and live events to the world. Working on a large team of 13 UX Designers, I have had the opportunity to work within multiple disciplines, from perfecting specs/deliverables to doing competitive analysis, from analyzing user tested results to ideating on a problem statement. I've mainly been focused on iHeart's Podcast section and search feature but have dabbled within other parts of the mobile app as well as our design system, OTT and auto areas. ### Board Member and Design Instructor @ Code Your Dreams Jan 2019 – Jan 2021 | Greater Chicago Area Code Your Dreams teaches design and coding to under represented groups in the Chicago area. We have programs for various skill and education levels and circumstance. I am the secretary and on the board of CYD as well as the Lead Design Instructor. I've written design curriculum (ideation, ui and ux), manage design volunteers and will teach our design programs. I also design materials for the company. ### Lead Product Designer @ SwiftIQ Jan 2018 – Jan 2020 | Downtown Chicago SwiftIQ was designed to connect data and enable insights across the retail ecosystem from supply chain to store to customer experiences, providing retailers and their partners alike with a system of intelligence to enhance customer experiences while in the store, and execute more profitably. As the Lead Product Designer I have created new features and a new application based on research, interviews, user testing and we've grown as a company since I joined in 2018. I've also developed our Diversity and Inclusion meetings and presented Service Design tactics in a Lunch and Learn session. ### Founding Product Designer @ Envoy Global Jan 2016 – Jan 2018 | Downtown Chicago Envoy Global, formally known as Visanow, offers a unique service that disrupts the Immigration Industry. We've created a service for HRs, their employees, the attorney's at our sister company, GIA Firm, and our internal customer service and sales team to co-exist on a multi-dimensional platform. HRs can easily and quickly manage employee visas with fast access to our internal teams. As the resident Product Designer, I worked on the interface and functional redesign of our new platform, which is currently in beta testing. I formed wireframes and clickable prototypes that inform re-designs and conceptualized new functions, a first for the team. I also organized and conducted user interviews prior to and during creation and organized and conducted internal user-testing and post-interview sessions with many departments in our company. I worked closely with the Product Owners, our UI Engineer and our team of developers to execute these designs, but I also worked with our many internal teams to improve quality assurance. Most of my work was done independently, and as I was working I was setting up a UX program that had not been in place before. ### Event Chair - Breakfast Club @ AIGA Chicago Jan 2015 – Jan 2017 | Chicago, Illinois, United States • Organized and hosted monthly 'Breakfast Club' meetups for designers and industry enthusiasts at various locations around Chicago • Facilitated networking opportunities and discussions among attendees to foster a creative and collaborative community • Successfully increased event attendance by 20% through targeted marketing strategies and engaging event programming ### Art Teacher @ Young Rembrandts Franchise Jan 2011 – Jan 2014 | Chicago, Illinois, United States • Implemented the Young Rembrandts Curriculum in 6 Chicago Public and Private Schools, overseeing art courses for 10-18 children aged 6-13 • Trained new art teachers to ensure the successful delivery of the curriculum • Collaborated with school staff to create a nurturing and creative environment for students to explore their artistic talents (CPA Schools and Daystar School) ## Education ### Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology and Design University of Mississippi ### Master's degree in Design and Applied Arts Flatiron School ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/marystantondesign --- Source: https://flows.cv/mary JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/mary/resume.json Last updated: 2026-02-23
