# Mashaal S. > Design | Commerce, Fintech, Startups, 0→1, Growth Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/mashaal I help teams move from mess to meaning, designing people-centric products that drive clarity, connection, and outcomes. I’ve led multi-surface, cross-org UX strategy for high-growth platforms, launched 0-to-1 products, and unified fragmented experiences around what matters most: the people using them.
At GoDaddy, I designed the UX integration of Poynt’s payments platform post-acquisition, shaped the vision for unified seller experiences across in-store & online, and built frameworks that accelerated growth, alignment, and design maturity. I operate across zoom levels: from hands-on design to JTBD-level strategy and platform architecture. Before GoDaddy, I built and shaped products at early-stage startups, including a digital logistics platform in Asia (Shipwaves), a networking insights app (Refresh, acquired by LinkedIn), and an edtech math platform used in schools across the US, Canada, and Australia. At Poynt, I led UX for Pay Links, enabling sellers to move online in days - a product that would later evolve into GoDaddy’s Payable Domains.
What drives me? Turning complexity into clarity, helping teams see the whole picture, and designing with empathy, integrity, and impact. My expertise: - North Star, Vision - Product & Service design - 0→1 products - Strategic foresight & planning - Cross-functional alignment - Complex, large-scale initiatives - Connecting the dots - Clarity through customer truth - Coaching and mentoring designers ## Work Experience ### Principal Designer @ GoDaddy Jan 2026 – Present ### Sr. Lead UX Designer @ GoDaddy Jan 2022 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area Leading design strategy and execution for GoDaddy's Commerce platform, with an amazing squad of designers.
