# Mathew Perdiguerra > UX/UI Designer Profile: https://flows.cv/mathewperdiguerra I'm a UX/UI designer based in the San Francisco Bay Area with 8+ years of experience designing digital products across ecommerce, retail, and nonprofit spaces. Much of my career has been spent in large-scale ecommerce environments — including Gap Inc., Old Navy, Janie and Jack, and Wish — where I designed across web, mobile, and email with a focus on conversion, product discovery, and scalable systems. My work sits at the intersection of UX and visual design. I bring a full-range background across user research, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping, and design systems — supported by a UX/UI certification from Designlab (2025) and a B.S. in Graphic & Web Design from the Art Institute of California (2018). I work best in collaborative environments where design, product, and engineering are in close conversation, and I'm comfortable contributing at both the strategic and production levels of a project. I'm currently open to mid-level UX/UI and product design roles. If you're hiring or want to connect, I'd love to hear from you. ## Work Experience ### Freelance UX, Graphic, and Web Designer @ Aug. 2014 – Present Jan 2014 | San Francisco Bay Area I've been working independently with clients since 2014, with a focus over the past several years on UX-led engagements — particularly nonprofit website redesigns where I own the process end to end, from discovery through launch. • Lead full UX engagements including stakeholder interviews, information architecture, content strategy, and platform migration — translating organizational goals into simplified, user-centered site structures • Design and prototype user flows for donation, event, and informational experiences; validate with usability walkthroughs and surveys (30+ participants) to surface friction and drive iterations • Improved online donation completion for multiple clients through restructured IA, refined user flows, and clearer call-to-action hierarchy • Establish scalable design systems and brand guidelines to support long-term consistency and maintainability post-handoff ### Communications Designer @ Wish Jan 2023 – Jan 2024 | San Francisco, CA Designed consumer-facing UX and visual communication for a global mobile ecommerce platform serving buyers across multiple international markets.
