Led a project to stream customer interaction data from the website to a data warehouse, which now powers features such as algorithmic sort and a "trending" products module, helping Kapow surface more relevant results to its users.

Helped architect and plan a refactor of part of a large application.

Built an implementation of Elasticsearch that drastically improved the performance of Kapow's real-time availability checks, one of the product's signature features.

Built a web app to display a summary of Kapow’s A/B tests and their results using React and Redux, which is displayed on a TV in the engineering section.

Got experience spiking new tech including Amazon Firehose, Elasticsearch, Webpack, and A/B testing with Optimizely.
