I worked closely with customers to understand how they were using our products, and dug further to uncover their pain points and needs. I was also responsible for designing user guides and marketing materials. ### Management Intern @ U.S. Department of State Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | US Consulate General Milan I learned the fundamentals of operating and supporting a US diplomatic post, and completed multiple management projects including disseminating awareness on diplomatic immunity, SOPs, and event organization. I also attended and took notes for distribution in diplomatic meetings on Italian and American affairs. ### Research Assistant @ University of California, Davis Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | Parlier, California I was a research assistant in Dr. Anton Cornel’s lab at the Mosquito Control Research Laboratory in the UC Kearney Agricultural Research and Extension (KARE) Center. The Cornel lab is mostly focused on mosquitos of medical importance, with particular interest in insecticide resistance and gene drive in populations. My main responsibilities were maintaining the mosquito insectary, setting up and collecting data from ultra-low volume (ULV) pesticide dispersal experiments, and producing highly accurate biological illustrations of undescribed mosquito species. ### Study Abroad Administrative Assistant and Advisor @ UC Davis Global Affairs Jan 2016 – Jan 2019 | Davis, California I provided administrative support in all aspects of student enrollment for the University of California Education Abroad Program (UCEAP). I advised prospective study abroad students on suitable programs, from the UCEAP portfolio of 250+ programs. I also developed and organized twice annual orientations for departing students.
