I'm a versatile software engineer with experience across the full software development lifecycle, working in both startup and enterprise environments. Most recently, I was a Software Engineer at Parallax, where I contributed to an event-driven architecture built with C#/.NET, a React + TypeScript frontend, and a PostgreSQL database hosted across Azure and Google Cloud platforms. I developed APIs and integrations with third-party CRM and timesheet tools, built internal APIs for CRM data management, and worked extensively with CI/CD, infrastructure as code (Terraform), and Azure Application Gateway configuration.

Previously, I was a Senior Software Engineer at Gap Inc., where I was part of the Services Integration team, focused on modernizing infrastructure and improving the developer experience. I built microservices using Spring Boot (Java) to automate manual processes around Kafka topic and access management, created internal tools for developers to interact more easily with Kafka and Schema Registry, and helped migrate applications from VM-based Tomcat hosting to Kubernetes via a modern CI/CD pipeline.

Earlier in my career at ImageTrend, I worked on the DataMart team, developing and maintaining ETL processes using SSIS, T-SQL, C#, and XML. I built batch ETL pipelines and reporting systems used by emergency services organizations nationwide, and was responsible for tuning large-scale SQL queries and transforming datasets for custom reporting.

I bring a strong foundation in cloud technologies (Azure, GCP), infrastructure automation (Terraform, Octopus, Azure Pipelines), and both front- and back-end development. I’ve learned the value of adaptability and cross-functional collaboration, skills that were first forged while teaching abroad and later refined in my software engineering roles.

Before entering tech, I taught English overseas and worked as a substitute teacher—roles that honed my communication skills, cultural awareness, and ability to think on my feet. Outside of work, I'm a competitive powerlifter.
