Hi, my name is Matt! I am a frontend software engineer with experience building full stack web applications using Javascript and Typescript, as well as mobile apps using React Native. I always emphasize staying close to the customer and have a passion for creating elegant and performant user experiences. I enjoy working in collaborative environments with people both inside and outside of engineering, and learning as much as I can from those around me.

Responsible for full-stack features across the platform, including a React Native app, React web app, Node backend, and infrastructure/hosting on AWS.
Drove performance improvements for the platform by refactoring poorly performing code paths and
migrating the database to an auto-scaling serverless infrastructure, reducing load times in the app by over 50%
