# Matt Klein > Staff Product Designer | Enterprise B2B | Construction tech, fintech, healthcare, adtech | 10+ years Location: New York City Metropolitan Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/mattklein I've spent 10+ years designing enterprise software where the data is dense and the decisions matter. Construction tech, fintech, healthcare, adtech. Right now I'm the sole product designer on Hexagon Geosystems' Construction Analysis Portal, supporting 90+ active construction projects. I own research, strategy, interaction design, and design system implementation across the full product. A few things from this work: I designed an ML-assisted schedule tagging tool that replaced a 20-hour-per-project manual process with in-platform automation. The model generates training data on every submission and is being applied to a second use case. I replaced manually produced Power BI reports with native in-app charts, cutting 12 hours of setup per project and 4 hours per manual update. I led design direction for unifying five acquired products into a single platform, developing a clickable prototype and product framework that aligned with the company's Hexagon Multivista go-to-market strategy, launched January 2026. Before Hexagon: AdMarketplace (B2B search advertising), Publicis Media (internal tools), FCB Health (pharma UX across 11 brand teams), Capco (fintech for TD Bank). My background is in graphic design from SVA. It still shows up in how I think about hierarchy, clarity, and the details that make a complicated interface feel simple instead of overwhelming. ## Work Experience ### Staff Product Designer @ Hexagon Geosystems Jan 2024 – Present Design lead for the Construction Analysis Portal, an enterprise SaaS platform supporting 90+ construction projects including data centers, manufacturing facilities, and corporate campuses. Sole designer on a two-person product team (with PM), reporting into Product. Drove design for cross-portfolio platform unification across multiple Hexagon-acquired tools. Reworked Customer Service schedule tagging with an ML-assisted workflow targeting a 25% reduction from a 20-hour-per-project manual baseline. The model generates training data on every user submission and is being applied to BIM element tagging as a second use case. Built native chart components replacing Power BI, cutting 12 hours of setup time per project and 4 hours per manual update. Redesigned the full reporting experience from 3 screens deep to a default dashboard with one step into detailed reports. Expanded the platform to support smaller projects without Building Information Modeling (BIM), growing the addressable customer base by 25%.
