SWE role focusing on an AWS stack, working on improvements to deployment, monitoring, and load balancing infrastructure. Supported engineers building a marketplace for podcasters and advertisers to connect, as well as a distribution and dynamic ad insertion/monetization platform. Executed a platform modernization project, getting technologies up to current versions (go/Python/Node/Ubuntu), as well as dev workflow tooling improvements. Evaluated path towards containerization and microservices for better deployments and more optimized CI/CD pipelines.
