This involved iterating on our React webapp, data jobs to support merchant data integrity, and ensuring a performant API is serving relevant insights to our users. I also led projects to improve human and automated reviews of new merchants, and jobs to ensure a high standard of that corpus. ### Software Engineer at Brigade @ Brigade Jan 2016 – Jan 2018 | San Francisco Bay Area ### Product Engineer @ Tumblr Jan 2015 – Jan 2016 | Sunnyvale, CA Fullstack web engineer using JavaScript, PHP, SCSS, HTML templating, with a smattering of Android and iOS development. As a web engineer on the Ads and Monetization team, I collaborated with a large team to deliver quality features. This required immersing myself into a large production codebase with many dependencies to understand existing architecture and build new features within it. I was also tasked with refactoring a large portion of the codebase that did not pertain to ads, leading a team of two other engineers in modernizing this legacy bundle for better tracking, easier development, and relieving tech debt. Following courses in iOS and Android development, I have gained some experience in ads related code for our Android application. ### Software Engineer @ Yahoo Jan 2014 – Jan 2015 | Sunnyvale California Fullstack web engineer, implementing middle tier and front end solutions using node.js, browserify, less, jade. Various contributions to the front end of Yahoo Recommends, a tool for content providers to leverage Yahoo's personalization engine and ad sources. Large contributor to our middle tier node server, which helped normalize upstream dependencies for the numerous front ends my team was working on. During this time I also spent some time in a short immersion program with the analytics team learning about PigLatin, Oozie, Hive, and other technologies necessary for our high latency pipeline. ### Software Engineer @ Guide. Jan 2013 – Jan 2014 Enhanced company’s Wordpress website with custom themes and plugins. Architected system in Python for voice over talent and moderators to submit and review audio. Architected custom interface for aggregating and visualizing Google Analytics data using Django templates.
