Boulevard combines an intelligent lead nurturing platform with a branded search portal that rivals industry leaders like Redfin and Zillow, giving the power back to agents. Leveraging analytics and data-driven follow-ups, Boulevard assists agents in never missing an opportunity.
Responsible for Boulevard's tech stack and design:
• Built the web application with Node/Express which encompassed the React apps, API, and subscribers.
• Architected and built multiple React applications; agent CRM, client listing portal, and internal tools.
• Implemented meticulous event tracking across all our applications, and setup detailed funnel analysis within Mixpanel to make data-driven decisions on design iterations. As a result we saw increases in engagement and conversions.
• Conceptualized weekly client engagement report emails and push notifications which increased retention.
• A/B tested client listing alerts and agent weekly engagement report emails to increase open/click rates.
• Designed and built adapters for integrating with multiple MLSes that would map our schema to the MLS's field names, parse XML, construct a model, then pipe data via Node streams to be stored in MongoDB.
• Wrote tests using Mocha, Chai, and Chai-http for the API.
• Built the iOS app with Swift 3.
• Managed a cluster of VM instances in Google Cloud and generated custom pre-configured machine images for fast instance creation.
• Integrated Google Cloud Pub/Sub. Jobs included crawling MLSes for latest listing data, matching client search filters with new listings, queuing push notifications, email alerts, and automated agent follow-ups.
• Built the backend with MongoDB and setup a cluster for scaled reads and writes along several nodes.
• Designed UI/UX for the web applications, mobile apps, and website.
Mobile (iOS): Swift.
Front-End: React.
Back-End: Node.js, MongoDB, Google Cloud.
