Design

• Work closely with Executive and Product Management Teams to help identify     customer needs and define products and specific features.
• Deep background as a product designer; well versed in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, 3D modeling, and a variety of prototyping methods.
• Passionate interest in the user experience that focus heavily on “out-of-box” experience.
• Well versed in wearable’s, mobile and consumer product technology integration including electromechanical assemblies, PCB layout, custom connector design, flexible circuits and external cable design, thermal designs, waterproofing, battery and display technologies.
• Knowledgeable of high volume production manufacturing materials and processes including numerous injection mold and tool construction methods, sheet metal stamping/forming, metal/plastic extrusion, and cosmetic finish processes.

Management

• Managed small teams with a focus on mentoring and adhering to the highest standards of craftsmanship for the product.
• Hands on approach with daily interactions and brainstorming sessions with designers, engineers and cross-functional groups to identify and solve problems. 
• Develop products using OEM, CM and JDM models
• Work collaboratively with Product Management, Marketing, Industrial Design, Product Design, and Mechanical and Hardware Engineering teams to move the product through the necessary development milestones
• Supported project kick-off, product design and engineering reviews and
development builds support.
